David Sloan Wilson is SUNY Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Biology and Anthropology at Binghamton University and president of the nonprofit organization ProSocial World, whose mission is to "consciously evolve a world that works for all". He has made foundational contributions to evolutionary theory and its relevance to human affairs. His books include Does Altruism Exist? Culture, Genes, and the Welfare of Others and This View of Life: Completing the Darwinian Revolution.
