Talk: The importance of reciprocity: we need to do as much for nature as it does for us

Natalie Stoeckl is a Professor of Economics at the University of Tasmania, Australia. She has an established track record of collaborative transdisciplinary research that considers social and economic aspects of environmental/natural resource management, in both terrestrial and marine contexts. Her work highlights how ecosystem services contribute to human wellbeing, how changes to those services impact society and why their management is critical for all. With more than 170 career publications, she has published with more than 150 co-authors, has had significant leadership roles in several large transdisciplinary research consortiums and has served on regional, state, national and international assessment/advisory boards.
